Localized Content in Website

What to do if you want to add multiple languages/countries to your website? This is a common question.

You should apply for a new domain (says, mywebsite.fr) or put it into a sub-domain (fr.mywebsite.com) or put it into a directory (www.mywebsite.com/fr/)?

Google gives you some tips on this matter in YouTube. They suggest to get a top-level-domain, i.e. mywebsite.fr as search engines will treat this as localized info for the specified country.

If you have two or multiple website, You may need to consider the management issue as you may have multiple copies of your website materials (like, image, movie). Anyway, takes a look what google suggest.
